Born in 1965 in the village of Didam, in the east of The Netherlands. Married and father of a daughter and a son. Currently living in Rotterdam, with wife, kids and dog. Played drums in many different bands since the age of 12. And always did booking/bookkeeping of the bands besides playing drums. Bachelor’s degree in arts management from HKU University of the Arts, Utrecht, The Netherlands. Worked for 10 years as director of the Liberty Day Music Festival in Utrecht and for 5 years as agent, tour manager and musician at Crossroads Blues Agency. Co-founder of Black & Tan Records. Worked for 5 years as agent for Frank Bolder Music Management / Bolder Music Agency, and also was production manager for the Slagwerk Festival (Drummer’s Festival). Since 2006 Frank has been one of the Program Managers for the North Sea Jazz Festival Rotterdam (part of Mojo Concerts, a Live Nation company) and the Program Manager for music venue & art house movie theatre LantarenVenster Rotterdam since 2009. Always doing and have too many jobs at the same time. Fond of: my wife and kids, live music, jazz, world music, coffee, water, good beer, wine and food, New Orleans, New York, Rotterdam, dogs, camping, travelling, and of course Canada!
