On The Road

In addition to our main event in November, we also organize missions to various music industry events around the world.

Since 2013, Mundial Montréal has made several stops ON THE ROAD with the goal of bringing the best of world music from Canada to the world.

The networking season begins in October, and Mundial Montreal makes sure to be present at several key events. If you are a Canadian and plan to attend one of these conferences, contact us! We would be pleased to help you maximize your participation.

New York, NY, USA

Since 2013, Mundial has been travelling to NYC in January as part of the APAP (including the 2-day Wavelenghts / World Music + globalFEST pre-conference) with the mission of facilitating visibility and career development opportunities for Canadian artists, notably through the organization of a showcase evening (in Drom on Friday evening), a networking reception, various promotional tools and networking meetings.

To indicate your interest in participating, we invite you to submit an application during the call (free of charge) that we open every year at the end of August/beginning of September. To make sure you don’t miss the dates, subscribe to our newsletter!

If you are a Canadian artist interested in performing at our APAP evening on January 10, 2020: submit your application before September 20

WOMEX is the most important event in the world music industry. In 2016, Mundial Montréal set up the largest Canadian delegation in the history of the event, since our presence has continued to grow and our partnership to grow. This is how we have on our program every year: artists in showcases, conferences, kiosks, networking receptions, orientation sessions and meetings of the World Road Network.
