15 years is something to celebrate, and that’s what we intend to do alongside NOMADIC MASSIVE.
On November 22nd at the Fairmount Theatre, the closing evening of our 9th edition will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this seminal group.
Opening up the night will be the 2019-20 Révélation Radio-Canada (World Music), DJELY TAPA.
It’s a closing evening with a hint of things to come as we head to our 10th anniversary in 2020..but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Nomadic Massive is a group of committed hip hop artists, with rich and vast influences, who offer an open sound, cleverly combined with live instrumentation, sampling and rich voices. Lou Piensa, Waahli, Meryem, Tali, Ali Sepu and Butta Beats rap and sing in English, French, Creole, Spanish and Arabic!
Since its creation in 2004, this group has played with the greatest stars all over the world and has always provided an engaging show, in which the crowd becomes an integral part of the concert. Their most recent EP, MIWA, was released last November.
Their new album TIMES was released to mark this 15th anniversary.
Descendant of an illustrious lineage of Malian griots, singer Djely Tapa animates the Canadian scene with an outstanding repertoire between Sahelian, blues and electro ambiences.
Reflecting her musical identity, her debut album BAROKAN is a resounding tribute to women and Africans.
This summer, she was named Révélation Radio-Canada 2019-2020!
